Solar Flare Forecasting using Machine learning/Deep learning techniques
The work
Abstract
The poster will focus on leveraging Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) techniques for solar flare forecasting. It will begin with a brief introduction to solar flares, highlighting the critical need for early prediction. We will then explore the various data sources available for solar flare prediction and discuss some of the common ML/DL approaches used in forecasting. Finally, we will examine the SHARP data and briefly discuss my ongoing research using this data for predicting solar flares.
